I have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had a hystorectomy May 9.
Have chosen alternative therapy instead of chemo but would like to know if
there are any qualified alternative clinics in the country as there are in
Europe and Switzerland. Anything near North west Florida? I am doing this
on my own but sure could use some help.

| Once upon a time there was a naturopath (he has written a few books so
you would recognize his name). One day the naturopath found out his wife
had cancer. What to do? Being a man of science, he explored *all*
treatments. This was his wife after all and he wanted *proof* that the
treatments worked. This was easy with the more traditional treatments
for her disease since he had only to read the results in medical
journals and talk with a few specialists. But when it came to evaluating
the so called alternative treatments in Mexican clinics, there were no
journal studies. |

Has your friend heard of the Gerson Therapy? There are 2 hospitals in
Mexico that do it. My diagnosis of breast cancer was in July 1994. I
have been on the therapy since then and am back to work and feeling
better than ever. It is nutritionally based with juicing and coffee
enemas for detoxification. It also is metabolically based. The Gerson
Institutite can be reached at email:gerson@aol.com and on the Internet
at: http:/www.homepage.com/mall/gerson/gerson.html. Since Oct.1995 the
therapy has been done at Hospital Meridian de Coronado at Playas de
Tijuana. Another hospital was doing the treatment when I was there and
still is. Ir is in the same city in Mexico. Information about CHIPSA
hospital vand be gotten by calling the Gerson Research Organization:
619-759-2966 or fax 616-759-2967. This hospital may be less expensive. |
| In the Gerson clinic he examined two people who had tumors shrink so
much they were unpalpable. But you know what? Both died right on
schedule. In fact every single patient from the four or five clinics he
visited, that he could confirm had cancer to begin with, died right on
schedule. Not a single person was cured. Their quality of life was also
greatly diminished due to the rigourous diet and colonics they endured.
In many instances their families were left destitute due to the cost of
the treatments. |
